"AN ACT OF KINDNESS"

This piece was influenced by the work of Hans Burgert and resulted from experimentation after a Thomas Ingmire workshop. I used a steel pen nib with Pro White to manipulate interconnecting letters on Black Ingress paper. I added the primary colors of red, blue and yellow in order to make the quote more readable.  My goal was to make the letters interlock, weave and dance together resulting in a pleasing design. I loved the meditative mind set I experienced as I worked. I had a lot of fun making it and wanted to convey this playful feeling. (18' X 15”)
