While God Waits
It is vital to be able to notice and understand the shapes around and inside the letters as well as the letters themselves. It gives an added dimension of awareness
while drawing the shapes if you can see both aspects. (This is a good lesson for life in general.) This assignment was a fun way to bring the negative and
positive shapes into clear focus. Using liquid resist we wrote pressurized Romans and filled in and around the letters with watercolor, drawing on our color theory studies. This revealed shapes with a bit of magic as the letters resisted the color.
