I particularly love the first lines of text, “Within each of us is a light, awake, encoded in the fibers of our existence”. By using stark black and white for the piece, I wanted to represent similarities of all humankind, yet each of us has that special light that makes us unique. The gemstones themselves all differ in size and shape to represent that uniqueness.
