"Always" ( SESSION 1
) supplies:
- Mitchell Nibs -- at least 2 of sizes 2 through 4
- Brause EF 66 Nibs, 2 or 3
- Speedball B Nibs — B-2, B-3, B-4
- Speedball Nibs, C-1 and C-2
- Other nibs that are your favorites
- Double-ended wooden pen handle, round barrel, at least one
- Mechanical Pencil (2mm) with leads (HB, 2H, 5H) Mechanical Pencil Lead Pointer
- White vinyl eraser, preferably pencil shaped
- 18" or longer ruler
- Slant Board
- 11" x 17" Grid Pad made for calligraphy
- Moon Palace Sumi Ink
- 6-well mixing pan
- Mixing Brush (cheap hog hair bristle), 2 or 3 each
- Water bottle with dropper and distilled water
- Xacto knife with #10 and #11 blades
-Paper Towels
-Scotch Removable tape
- Fingernail buffer/file (at least 4 to 6 sided)
- Magnifier, 10X or higher
- Ball Point Pen, red fine
-Micron Black Markers in a variety of sizes including 01, 08
-Scissors
- Winsor Newton Gum Arabic
- Arches HP Watercolor paper
- Glassine sheets (2)
- Winsor Newton Gouaches: Permanent White, Ivory Black, Primary Red, 'Primary Blue, Primary Yellow
- Dr. Martin's Bleed Proof White
- Three 6-part mixing pans
- Good pointed watercolor brush, size 1 or 2
- Two water bowls (similar to Cool Whip bowls)
- Pad of tracing paper, 8 1/2" x 11"
- Pack of Saral Transfer Paper
- spoon shaped burnisher
- Workable matte spray fixative, either Krylon or Blair
-Gum Sandarac - powdered form in a pouch
